Electric Scissor Lifts
Indoor / slab · Zero emissions · Quiet
Vertical lift for clean indoor floors
Electric scissors go straight up and down only. Large platform decks carry people plus materials — ideal when the work is directly overhead and the ground is clear, level slab.
Recommend when
- Work is straight up over clear ground
- Quiet / zero-emission site rules apply
- You need a large deck for tools and materials
Ask before quoting
Door height, floor loading, aisle width, turning radius, and whether the customer means working height or platform height.

Rough-Terrain Scissor Lifts
Outdoor · Diesel · 4WD · Uneven ground
Big deck capacity for outdoor sites
RT scissors keep the vertical-only motion and large platform of a scissor, but add diesel power, 4WD, and higher ground clearance for construction yards and uneven outdoor ground.
Recommend when
- Outdoor work directly overhead on uneven ground
- Heavy materials or multi-person crews on the deck
- Electric slab scissors would struggle with grade/tyres
Ask before quoting
Ground conditions, gradeability, wind exposure, and site access for a larger RT machine.

Articulating Boom Lifts
“The knuckle” · Up and over obstacles
Reach up and over when something is in the way
Articulating (knuckle) booms use multiple joints to lift over canopies, steelwork, facades, and congested plant. Smaller basket — typically 1–2 people plus hand tools.
Recommend when
- An obstacle blocks a straight line to the work
- Up-and-over clearance is required
- The site is tight but still needs boom height

Telescopic Boom Lifts
“The straight stick” · Max height & outreach
Maximum height and horizontal reach in open areas
Telescopic (straight) booms deliver the longest outreach and highest working heights when there is a clear line of sight to the work — open yards, tank farms, and clear-span steel.
Recommend when
- Clear line of sight — nothing to go over
- You need maximum height or horizontal reach
- Site ground and wind conditions suit a large boom

Vertical Mast / Personal Lift
Vertical Mast Lifts
Compact single-person (or small crew) lifts for narrow indoor aisles, retail fit-out, and delicate floors. Lower self-weight and small footprint vs a full scissor.
- Indoor slab and stockroom work
- Where a full scissor is too wide or heavy
- Quick up-and-over in tight interiors (model dependent)
Spider / Tracked
Spider & Tracked Lifts
Outrigger “spider” and tracked platforms reach into confined or sensitive sites — atriums, historic buildings, sloping ground — where wheeled MEWPs cannot go.
- Sites with restricted gateways or soft ground
- Facade / atrium work needing outriggers
- Escalate to workshop before quoting non-standard jobs
Push-Around / Low-Level
Push-Around Lifts
Manually positioned low-level access for short indoor jobs — lighting, CCTV, signage, and maintenance where a powered scissor is unnecessary.
- Retail and facilities maintenance
- Sites that cannot accept diesel or large machines
- Working heights typically under ~6–8 m
Truck-Mounted / Cherry Picker
Truck-Mounted Platforms
Road-legal aerial platforms mounted on trucks for rapid deployment between sites — street lighting, telecom, utilities, and roadside work.
- Lighting, signage, and utility lines
- Jobs needing mobility between locations
- Confirm road access, outrigger space, and permits

Electric AC for slab indoors; RT diesel for rough outdoor ground.
Access & ground?
Gate width, floor loading, grade, wind — or escalate to spider / specialty.
